Copywriting Services

Whether you’re a start-up or have been operating for twenty years, you know your business best.

You also know that your website, brochures, blogs and socials all need to work together to share your story and connect with your clients.

But it’s hard to focus on writing about your business when you’re already snowed under with your own work in the business. So, what do you do?

You contact a professional.

That’s me.

Writing is my happy place

It really is. Which is why I love to create clear, engaging and accurate content that cuts though the marketing clutter. When you take those tasks off your ‘To do’ list and put them onto mine, you’ll not only save time so you can get back to doing your real job, but you’ll also reach more clients.

Business Kickstarter

When you’re starting out, it’s hard to know what’s essential. Being present on social media? Definitely. Having a huge, glossy website? Not so much.

My advice?

  1. Talk directly to your ideal customers on socials.
  2. Showcase what you can offer them in a small and sleek site.
  3. Add to your site over time.

My Business Kickstarter Package is the first step in establishing your digital presence.

Copywriting For Email/Nurture Sequence

One of the best ways to nurture potential clients from completely unaware to ready to buy is to educate them about the benefits of your products or services. A targeted email sequence is a tried and tested way of doing just that. But email sequences can be pushy, too salesy or just pitched badly. That’s when you need an expert.

Someone like me.

Let me help you to reach more clients.

Reach more clients

Reaching more clients gives your business a greater impact, so you can do more…with less stress.

Imagine how much fun it would be to:

  • focus on all the great ideas you have for your business instead of wrestling with words,
  • leave ‘work’ at work once you shut down your computer,
  • be able to play with your pet hamster instead of trying to come up with email copy on a Sunday afternoon.

Inclusions

  • 5-email nurture sequence
  • Ideal for lead magnet download or product launch
  • Lead magnet / sales page can be added for an additional cost
  • Take clients from brand introduction to purchase in 5 easy steps.

Copywriting For 1 Print Brochure / Postcard

Never underestimate the value of using printed materials in your marketing. Having a physical document that can be handed on to connections increases your reach many times over.

Physical materials also have greater recall.

In a recent study by Canada Post the researchers found that participants’ recall was 70% higher when they were exposed to direct mail versus a similar digital ad, which had a recall of 44%.

This may be because recipients were using more than one sense to respond to the printed materials (sound, sight, touch and smell) compared to the digital versions (mostly sight alone). But whatever the reason, the greater recall isn’t something you’d want to ignore.

Of course, digital materials are still an important part of any marketing strategy, but who knew printed collateral was significant too? Well, I did actually. But it’s my job to know these things.

  • This service includes copy for one print brochure (6-panel DL Trifold). See sizing and layout here.
  • Or One postcard 16 x 5.5 cm
  • 300 words
  • Layout and printing can be provided at a small additional cost.

Copywriting and Lay-for one capability statement

Capability statements are absolutely key to landing technical projects in government and other sectors. They help project managers decide whether or not your business can complete the job they want at the standard they require.

A capability statement needs to include the hard facts: what your experience is in the specific field, the services you offer and how many, if any, similar jobs you’ve done. And it needs to persuade the reader that you’re the right person for the job.

It can include information about the history and background of your business as well as your vision and mission statements or your core values and philosophy.

Think of it as a short engaging CV…with bite.

How it works

  1. First, we start with a detailed briefing.
  2. Then we work out how many project types and what content you would like to include.
  3. You receive up to 6 pages (A5 size)
  4. Approximately 1200 words
  5. Statements can be customised for 3-4 project types
  6. Once you approve the text, we move to layout stage, using your branding elements and images.
  7. You receive print-ready pdfs in a Canva layout.

If you need help with photography, branding or printing, I can refer you to trusted specialists in my network.

Starting at $1895, there’s a package for you whether you’re a new, emerging or established business.

We all want to reach more clients

Reaching more clients gives your business a greater impact, so you can do more…with less stress.

Imagine how much fun it would be to:

  • focus on all the great ideas you have for your business instead of wrestling with words,
  • leave ‘work’ at work once you shut down your computer,
  • be able to play with your pet hamster instead of trying to come up with web copy on a Sunday afternoon.

How it works

  1. First, we start with a conversation about what you need written…and to see if I’m a good fit for your project.
  2. I draft a proposal that includes key stages, timing, information I need to gather from you, what deliverables are included and, of course, the cost.
  3. Once you accept the proposal, we have a project briefing, usually via Zoom or Teams, in which we discuss the specific details of who you want to reach and what you want them to do.
  4. I write the content and submit it to you for approval. You have two rounds of revisions, so you’re involved in the process every step of the way.
  5. You receive your proofread copy and do the happy dance because you have shiny new content to use in your business…and you get to play with your pet hamster all weekend!!

Copywriting for 10 Social media posts

Love it or hate it, social media is here to stay.

Whether you prefer paid advertising or a more organic approach, you need to have your brand visible in digital formats.

The key to social media, though, is in the name:  it’s ‘social’ media. Which means that to be successful, you need to engage.

Think of social media as being a conversation with a colleague at the train station after work. No-one wants a ‘hard sell’ at the end of a working day, especially if they have to face cooking or squeezing in a quick gym session as soon as they get home. We’d all prefer to laugh at something funny or share a helpful tip.

Great social media posts can feel like that conversation. A way for people in your network to learn something new about you and maybe think of you when they need a specific project done.

How it works

  1. First, we start with a detailed briefing where we talk about who you want to engage and what you want them to do once they read your posts.
  2. Then we discuss which platform is best for your messaging and how often you would like to post.
  3. We discuss themes and approaches and set a schedule.
  4. I get busy writing and tailor the content.
  5. You drop my text into your social media templates and hit ‘post’.

It’s that simple.

Of course, if you need help with layout or template creation, would like to post across more than one platform or are stumped for ideas, I can do all this for you at a small additional cost.

Copywriting For LinkedIn Profile And Company Page

LinkedIn is an active business networking site with 900 million users across over 200 countries. That’s right – almost a billion users.

With so many people out there looking for a change of employment or wanting to sell more products, it’s clear that your personal profile and company page need to do more than just list your past work history.

But the good news is that less than 2% of users are active, so a great LinkedIn profile or page will showcase what you have to offer to a huge business audience. It will show people what makes you tick. And give them confidence that they can trust you.

Think of it as a digital business card on steroids.
