I’ve helped professional writing and editing students write and refine their own picture books and reviewed countless picture books for Magpies Magazine over the years.  I’ve also had a highly successful picture book published, Zelda’s Big Adventure, which was not only on the Longlist for the Children’s Book Council Awards, but also read on Playschool by the wonderful Leigh Sales.

I find picture books endlessly fascinating and I love sharing what I know. I also enjoy being surprised by what other writers come up with all the time…and, believe me, my students and mentees surprise me all the time.
