Exploring picture books (Prep – Year 10)

This workshop is a great way to engage students in their own creative writing practice.

Younger children will discuss story ideas, plan their drawings and work towards a finished picture book.

Older students will also consider what makes a picture book a classic, how illustrations add to the text and what is involved in the revision and editing process.
